Chief Corporate Governance Officer, Nagad Limited

Mr. M Nurul Alam has joined in Nagad Ltd in March 2022 as the Chief Corporate & External Affairs Officer with 41 years of experiences mostly in MNCs. Before joining in Nagad he was working as the Chief Executive Officer of Prime Islami Securities Ltd. He worked as the Deputy Managing Director of Prime Islami Life Insurance Ltd till 31 August 2021. He served as a Member of the Sharia Board of the Prime Islami Life Insurance Ltd. Alam worked as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Netherlands based Veon Ltd., which is the parent company of Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd. He has long working experience in GSK Bangladesh, Orascom Telecom Bangladesh as Company Secretary and Management Team Member.

Mr. Alam has been serving voluntarily for the development of Corporate Governance, Internal Audit and Compliance professional since long. He is holding the position of the Secretary General and Director in the Board of Governors of The Institute of Internal Auditors Bangladesh. He has been voluntarily working as a Global Assembly Member of IIA Inc. head quartered in Lake Mary Florida, USA. Alam is a Council Member and Senior Vice President of Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh.
