Terms and Conditions for “Visa Credit Card Bill Payment” service:
‘Nagad’ Customers will be eligible to pay Visa credit card bills issued from any commercial bank in Bangladesh can be paid through NAGAD account.
One Nagad customer can only enjoy this service multiple times if he/she pays through Nagad App the bills of Visa credit Card in BDT with the condition of applicable local (Bangladesh) credit limit.
Although, there is no limit to the credit card bill payments but a Nagad customer must follow the applicable payment rules of the concerned bank.
In order to eligible for this service a Nagad customer must have an active Nagad account with sufficient balance.
A Nagad customer will be charged of applicable 1% on the amount of the bill (on payment amount).
VISA will bear the sole liability of its credit card bill payment service. Nagad shall only take the responsibility as a payment service provider.
Nagad reserves the right to change/modify these terms & conditions or cancel this service at any time without giving any prior notice.
Any decision taken by Nagad with respect to this service, shall be in the sole discretion of Nagad and shall be deemed final.
Nagad announces that:
Nagad Customer Service Representative can note the last 4 digits of the credit card number on the ticketing system, email, or paper (if required), but the customer should be aware that the full card number cannot be disclosed under any circumstances.
Nagad or its authorized representative shall not, at any point, requests the customers to disclose their One-time Password (OTP) or Personal Identification Number (PIN) of their Nagad account or VISA Credit card,
It shall not ask the customer to make any payment to anyone whatsoever, and If the customer is a victim of any kind of fraud, NAGAD will not be liable. The customer is solely responsible for any transaction made from their NAGAD account.
It shall contact the customer using only 16167 or 096 096 16167. For any confusion or conflict with regards to this service, the customer must end any other call and immediately call back to 16167 or 096 096 16167 to ascertain the authenticity of the call or for required information.
The bill will be sent to the bank’s credit card management system for payment. Payment will be updated within 3 working days after bill payment. However, If the customer is charged a late fee by the bank for making a last-minute credit card bill through NAGAD, then the customer has to contact the card-issuing bank to resolve the issue.
Customers cannot check their credit card bills from the NAGAD app. Only Visa credit card bill payment can be made using the NAGAD service and If the payment is made incorrectly to the wrong card number, the customer needs to contact the bank issuing his credit card to resolve this issue or If the payment amount is wrong at the time of payment (e.g. intending to pay 500 Taka, but paid 5000 Taka instead) then the customer has to contact the card-issuing bank.
Nagad shall not be responsible for any loss or damages whatsoever for any of the reasons listed above or any other actions from a third party. In the event of any dispute, the Customer shall first contact with Nagad through Nagad hotline numbers: 16167 or 096 096 16167.
In the event of conflict between English version and Bangla version of the terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
